200 Pound Beauty

Just watched finished the movie today. It was a great show. Something that has not touched my heart since.. my sassy girl and sex is zero. Think Korean Movies have a knack of touching a chord within our very being. Movies often strikes at something that is happening in our society of today.. yet, so very often it is being ignored.

It is often said that, beauty is only skin deep. Yet, how true would you go in acknowledging someone who is kind hearted but ugly? Very often we would be full of praise for such a person. Yet society is realistic and harsh. Just because you are not good looking enough, you often will not be able to get to a place where the more aesthetically good looking ones will.

Yet, we all have a soul. Within us, there is a desire to want to be accepted. Is it the person's fault to want to look this way? Is it even a choice? Can someone be blamed? never... how bout God? no.. God never intended for us to look ugly. I believe that the fall of man is partly the reason as to why ugliness exist today. Still, if there is one thing i've learnt from the movie is this,.. they are people. They are still people. and people, no matter what, deserved to be loved, cherished and accepted to the very individual being that they are. We all are unique and special.

There are a few lines that really cut deep into the heart of my being. One of which is this.. "You broke my heart, tissues won't fix it anymore." The simplicity yet profoundness of that single line. How often have we been guilty of doing just that? not accepting of others just because they do not match up to our expectations.

If there is one thing that I've learnt, that is really to love and to accept others.. more than ever now..

The other line is this "Only God can change you, you cannot do a single thing. Are you God?" How true! We try and we try so hard sometimes, just to be loved, just to be accepted.. Still only God understands. Only God really accepts without condition.. Thank God for that!

Would you accept someone who is ugly but beautiful on the inside? Or someone who is pretty but is ugly on the inside? Or maybe someone who is fake on the outside but beautiful on the inside? Watch 200 Pound beauty, perhaps it may give you a great revelation as to what you might choose.

No, I disagree with what the doctor said. To Move forward, you MUST not Forget you past. No, instead, you must embrace and accept your past. Else your past may jolly well catch up on you.
